We check that the address belongs to a real school, then email you a 6-digit code. Enter it within 15 minutes.

Review the monthly charge, pay, and your membership starts right away. Come in and work the same day.
Your verification lasts a year. We’ll email you two weeks before it runs out; verify again to keep paying $99 a month. If it lapses, your membership carries on at the regular price of $149/month from your next renewal, and you can cancel anytime.

xTribe is upstairs from Awakening on La Brea, a short ride from LAX, Santa Monica and downtown. The coworking floor is built for focus: no calls, no meetings and no food at the desk, so it works as well for finals week as it does for a thesis edit. Calls go in the phone booths, and coffee is downstairs.
Studying film, media or music? Members also get lower rates on our podcast studios and film sets, so class projects, channels and side work can all happen in one building.

How much is the student discount?
Students pay $99/month instead of $149/month, $50 less every month. It’s the same membership everyone else gets; only the price is different.
Who qualifies?
Students at a college, university or other school that gives its students an email address on the school’s own domain. There’s no minimum course load and no ID card to show: if your school email checks out, you qualify.
Which email addresses work?
The address your school gave you, usually ending in .edu or your school’s own domain. We check it against public lists of school and university domains, so personal addresses like Gmail, Outlook or iCloud won’t work. We email a 6-digit code to that address; it’s good for 15 minutes. Each school email can be verified on one xTribe account.
What if my school isn’t recognized?
The domain lists are good but not perfect, especially for newer schools and schools outside the US. Email us at info@xtri.be with your school’s name and website, or ask at the front desk, and we’ll take a look.
How long does the student price last?
Your verification lasts a year from the day you confirm it. We email you two weeks before it runs out; verify your school email again and the student price carries on. If it lapses, your membership continues at the regular price ($149/month) from your next renewal.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel anytime from your account, before your renewal date to stop the next charge. There are no refunds after first use or after a renewal. The details are in our Cancellation Policy.
Can I combine it with other offers?
No. The student price replaces any other membership offer on your account; the two don’t stack.
